Therapeutic Art at Work: Building Self-Confidence with Therapeutic Art
Find us @ https://www.homefrontnj.org/artspace/

ArtSpace uses art as a tool to improve the physical, mental and emotional well being of our clients. By encouraging creativity and self-expression in a safe and nurturing environment, our goal is to rebuild the souls of individuals suffering from poverty, homelessness and family abuse. In the environment provided by ArtSpace’s innovative therapeutic art program and with the non-threatening, non-judgmental encouragement of ArtSpace Team, clients are able to look inside themselves and by artistic expression begin the process of restoring their defeated inner spirit.
Doors to new ways of thinking are opened. Inner and outer voices are revealed. Creative energy is sparked. Self respect and confidence are awakened. The life-changing impact from these discoveries in reality can be limitless. Through exhibition and sale of the art created, ArtSpace provides entrepreneurial skills and opportunities to our artists. It educates the public about and advocates for the plight of the underprivileged members of our community.
ArtSpace is a HomeFront program housed in Homefront's Family Campus, a center for homeless families. HomeFront provides a holistic array of services for families who are homeless or at high risk of becoming
so. To learn more about HomeFront click the logo below.
